Library Resources
The Devereaux Library offers many resources, from those needed for advanced research to entertainment and distractions when you just want to rest and relax.
- E-books - Thousands of books are available from a several vendors including Knovel, ProQuest, EbscoHost, Overdrive, Hoopla, Access Engineering and Access Science. These collections range from the highly technical to pleasure reading. We suggest
you begin your search in Primo.
- E-journals and magazines - Millions of articles are available online. The collections include research material as well as casual reading. Hint: begin your search in Primo or Overdrive
- Printed books, journals, magazines, maps, etc. - While most of the library’s print collection is in storage, many items are now located in campus departments. Check Primo. If the material is not readily available, the library can borrow it
from another library for you.
- Videos - The library’s popular DVD collection IS available. Primo can take you to them! Hoopla has many more available to you. Avon has thousands of academic videos online. Every video is searchable in Primo.
- Archival materials - A small portion of South Dakota Mine’s archives has been scanned and can be accessed via DLSD. Library staff can assist you with your archival requests. Please contact us.
