    Forming a Student New Student Organization

    So you're interested in starting a student organization? Well, you have come to the right place.  In order to start an organization, you will have to follow these steps.

    How to start an organization:

    • Visit the student organization directory on Rocker Central to make sure a similar group doesn't already exist
    • Find a total of ten (10) people who want to start this organization
    • Draft a constitution 
    • Visit the Student Organization Resources section of our website
    • Recruit a Student Organization Advisor (Must be a full-time South Dakota Mines Faculty or Staff member)
    • Submit your registration via Rocker Central
